Particles won't disappear

description

Hi,

I would implement that engine in my game, but I have some problems with it.
If u open the editor and select the basicexplosion, klick on the black panel. Nothing happens.
But after 25 seconds it works.... but the sparks and the smoke wont go. They wont disappear.

I use Win7 64bit and XNA4

ok, it seems to be a problem with the ProjectMercury.ContentPipeline.
It compiles the xml files into wrong xnb files...

I wrote that into the AbstractEmitterSerializer class:
        string stringValue = input.Xml.ReadElementString("MinimumTriggerPeriod");
        float floatValue = Single.Parse(stringValue);

        Console.WriteLine("stringValue (" + stringValue + ") floatValue (" + floatValue + ")");
the result was:

stringValue (0.25) floatValue (25)
stringValue (0.25) floatValue (25)
stringValue (0.25) floatValue (25)
stringValue (0.25) floatValue (25)

trunk / tag 3.1, current stable

adding this line to Program.cs of the editor, seems to fix the problem :)

System.Threading.Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentCulture = System.Globalization.CultureInfo.InvariantCulture;

but I need a solution for the ContentPipeline if it is implemented in a XNA-app....
