Cooldown controller is worthless


Cooldown controllers are worthless because they will be shared among every instance of a particle system. IE: with 7 campfires all using the same emitter, the cooldown controller will be updated 7 times.

Not sure I understand what you're getting at here Z! The controller is updated along with the Emitter\ParticleEffect - so it would only be updated 7 times if the effect itself was updated 7 times - a particle effect should only be updated once per loop regardless of how many logical instances or proxies there are of it..

I've a similar problem with proxys... I think the cooldown timer should be different for each proxy ?
